All this needs to be changed and to initiate this change people must be educated on how and why women should not be looked down upon, wages / salaries for the same job must be same for both genders. Opportunities must be equal for everyone, women need to feel secure, safe and equal in a society. People need to be taught about the importance of encouraging a woman to be independent and break social norms that have existed for decades. 2020 is not just a date on the calendar it’s a mindset that needs to be renewed that is beneficial to all.
